Veeram is tamil comedy and action movie released in Jan 2014. This movie is directed by Siva and Produced by Bharathi Reddy. The main actors are Ajith Kumar, Tamannaah, Santhanam and Nassar.
Vinayakam (Ajith Kumar) is middle aged elder brother of four. The brothers can not tolerate the wrong doers and they punishes them on their own court after giving enough food. Bail Perumal (Santhanam) is the lawer of vinayakam brothers. The movie starts with a good comedy, action and romance.
Vinayakam loves their brother and hence does not want to get married since it can lead to separation between them. Similarly he insists his brothers not to get married. But their brothers are in love and no one wants to inform this to Vinayakam. Now Bail perumal comes up with idea of making Vinayakam to fall in love with a girl. Gopperundevi (Tamannaah) enters into the brother's life and the brothers are successful in maing Vinayakam to fall in love with Gopperundevi.
Gopperundevi, her father Nallasivam (Naasar) and her family wants to stay away from any kind of fights since they lost their son on a incident. Now Vinayakam and his brother decided to change their character and enters into Gopperundevi's house. There is a big gang wants to take revenge on Naalasivam and his family and but Vinayakam protects the family by fighting against them.
Entire movie depends on Ajith's performance. First half is looking good with comedy and romance. But the second half remembers the mid-movie (1990's) style. His make up was good in the first half since it suits the character. But in the second half, clean shaved face did not click enough. Rather he might have come up with black hairs along with clean shaved face. It is nice and entertaining movie. Ajith's fan surely love it especially the first half.
