This new year starts on the star of Pushyami (Poosa) Naksharta for the entire world. This nakshatra is ruled by Saturn. Current Saturn is transiting on its own sign of Makara Rasi and getting neecha banga raja yoga with debilitated Jupiter. Saturn will be in Makara Rasi for entire this year. But Jupiter will be moving back and forth between the Makara Rasi and Kumba Rasi.
Jupiter will be in Makara Rasi until April 5, 2021 and then transit to Kumba Rasi. Then Jupiter will get retrograde in Kumba Rasi and move back to Makara Rasi on Sep 15, 2021. Jupiter will go direct in Makara Rasi and move forward to Kumba Rasi again on Nov 20, 2021.

The critical planetary aspects in this new year is,
Rahu will be in Rishaba Rasi and Ketu will be in Vrischika Rasi for entire this year. Mars will not go retrograde for entire this year 2021. Venus is going retrograde towards the end of year that is on Dec 19, 2021.
Jupiter and Saturn will be making conjunction in Makara Rasi between Jan 01, 2021 and April 5, 2021 and again between Sep 15, 2021 and Nov 20, 2021. But the exact conjunction is already happened in the last year on Dec 21, 2020. Guru Managa Yoga is formed between Feb 21, 2021 and June 01, 2021.
