2026 â€" 2027 Jupiter Transit Predictions â€" Overview
Guru Peyarchi / Gochar (Jupiter Transit) will take place in the first week of June 2026. Jupiter will move from Gemini Moon Sign (Midhuna Rasi) to Cancer Moon Sign (Kataga Rasi).

The exact timing based on different panchangam systems is given below:
As per Thiru Kanidha Panchangam: Monday Jun 01, 2026 at 10:37 AM IST
As per Krishnamurti Panchangam (KP): Monday Jun 01, 2026 at 01:33 PM IST

There will always be slight time differences between Thiru Kanidha Panchangam, Lahiri Panchangam, KP Panchangam, and Vakya Panchangam. For transit predictions, I always follow KP (Krishnamurti) Panchangam.

Jupiter stays in one rasi for one year and takes 12 years to complete all 12 rasis. This rule does not change. However, about 15â€"20 years ago, Jupiter used to stay in one sign for almost the entire year without adhi saram (faster movement), except in Makara Rasi.

Adhi Saram means Jupiter moves to the next sign, goes retrograde, and then comes back. This happens because we keep deducting about 22â€"24 degrees from western coordinates to match our panchangam. As years go by, this deduction increases at the rate of 1 degree every 72 years. Because of this adjustment, Jupiter will continue to show adhi saram more frequently, and this will become the new normal.

What this means for predictions is that people will experience multiple swings within one year of Jupiter transit. In earlier years (15â€"20 years ago), we had three swings. Now it has increased to five swings. This aligns well with the fast paced lifestyle of the current generation.

I have given the five swings for this Jupiter transit. This transit will benefit people born in Vrischika Rasi, Makara Rasi, Meena Rasi, Midhuna Rasi, and Kanni Rasi. People born in Kataga Rasi, Simha Rasi, Dhanushu Rasi, and Kumba Rasi will face more difficulties. People born in Mesha Rasi, Rishaba Rasi, and Thula Rasi will experience mixed results.
